How We Lead
FCC is a Congregational church. That means we are not governed by our denomination, we govern ourselves as a congregation. This makes us distinct from other traditions who may be governed by a hierarchy of bishops or elders (like Episcopal or Presbyterian churches), or may not be answerable to any earthly authority (like non-denominational churches). It also means that the congregation has a voice in the way our church is governed. The Staff, Board of Directors, and congregation work together to discern God’s leading for our church.
